Professor Jucimar Eller, nicknamed Sarrafo, was born in Brazil and has more then 16 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He got his black belt under Erivaldo Junior from Liga Jiu Jitsu. Profesor Sarrafo is a No Gi World Champion (2016) and winner of many regional compeititons in Brazil.
His Favourite position is the Spider guard and favourite submission is the wrist lock.
Gustavo Pinto was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and started training jiu-jitsu in 1993 at master’s Sergio Lisboa academy in Sao Jose dos Campos, SP. Master Sergio Lisboa is 5th-degree black belt under master Oswaldo Alves (10th degree- Red Belt) being one of the most knowledgeable master’s in jiu-jitsu of our time.
He arrived at Gracie Barra Sydney in 2003 under the supervision of Prof. Marcelo Rezende which guided and directed him to the right path, reinforcing the methods of teaching and family values.
Prof. Gustavo remained undefeated in his weight division for 7 years, since his arrival in Australia in 2003, winning 2 pan Pacific’s (2005/2006), also flying to Abu Dhabi for the World Professional Jiu-jitsu cup in 2009/2013 sponsored by the Sheik Mohamed Bin Zayed. He also participated twice at the world championships in 2003/2006 as a Black Belt. In 2017, he was awarded the 4th degree on his Black belt at The Gracie Barra World Summit in Las Vegas from Master Carlos Gracie Jr. At GBWS Competition 2017 in Las Vegas, Prof. Gustavo won 1st place in his weight division.
In conjunction with Prof. Marcelo Rezende developed and adapted jiu-jitsu techniques into the rugby game, working with Manly Sea Eagles team, Wallaby players, with elite athletes at NSWIS and also presents workshops and seminars around Australia.
Gustavo starts GB Newcastle City in 2010 in Mayfield and moved into the heart of the City a few years later. He established GB Charlestown with Professor Arnaldo Cardozo and is now offering his expertise to Professor Jucimar in their new partnership for GB Edgeworth.
